Senior Cooperative Housing Development

Senior housing cooperatives have become a preferred choice of residence for many seniors, and the Upper Midwest (MN, IA, WI) is home to a substantial number of cooperatively owned housing units. Through cooperative ownership, seniors:

• Own their apartments/townhouses
• Realize tax deductions of mortgage interest and real estate taxes
• Control management and direct policies
• Receive return of equity upon resale
