CDS Consulting Co-op (CDS CC) is pleased to announce that Carolee Colter and Mary Courteau have joined our co-op as members and will be providing consulting services to cooperatives through CDS CC!
Carolee Colter has consulted for consumer and worker co-ops and other community-based businesses for the past 25 years. Using a collaborative problem-solving approach, she helps co-ops create productive and satisfying workplaces. Carolee can also assist your co-op with supervision training and team-building for management teams; organizational structure and staffing plans for expansions; human resource systems audits, hiring and compensating co-op management; and pay scales and pay raise systems.
Mary Courteau has over 20 years of experience working with cooperatives. She is a former general manager of Mississippi Market Co-op and also worked for Northcountry Cooperative Development Fund. With her skills in listening and analysis, Mary helps co-op managers interpret and use results of staff satisfaction surveys.
Most recently, Carolee and Mary have worked together with co-op managers around the country using and analyzing employee surveys. Employee responses now contribute to a large database of information that Carolee and Mary use to help managers identify benchmarks and best practices. With the widespread adoption of Policy Governance®, employee surveys now also provide objective data for managers to use in preparing monitoring reports on staff treatment and compensation policies.
With the addition of Mary and Carolee to our co-op, our consultants can provide you with an even wider range of cost-effective professional services. CDS consultants specialize in basing recommendations on analysis of data – including CoCoFiSt, location research, expansion pro formas, and now employee satisfaction data. Through a collaboration between CDS Consulting Co-op and CoopMetrics, the employee survey input tools and reports will be enhanced during 2009 to provide more comprehensive and efficient services for our clients.
