CDS was successful in securing federal grant funding totaling $458,000 for three value-added agricultural clients announced last week. USDA Value-Added Producer Grant for working capital were awarded for a family owned organic dairy and a family-owned vineyard/winery, as well as funds for business planning to assist a producers’ co-op develop a larger multi-regional supply chain. CDS has a strong track record in helping agricultural producers and co-ops access state and federal funding to grow their businesses. The next round of the VAPG program will be announced this fall.
