Finance & Donor Program Specialist
Andrea joined CDS in June 2025 as our Finance and Donor Program Specialist.
She has over 30 years of experience in small nonprofit administration, finance and governance. Most recently she was Business Manager and Conference Coordinator for the International Association for Feminist Economics for 9 years. Prior to that she was Financial Director at the Nebraska Appleseed Center for Law in the Public Interest for 13 years. Her nonprofit career started with the Good Old Lower East Side, a tenants’ right organization in New York City, followed by a period as a litigation assistant at Texas Rural Legal in the panhandle of west Texas and five years as Associate Director at ACLU Nebraska.
Andrea moved to Minnesota (from Nebraska) in early 2024. She enjoys boating and swimming in Minnesota lakes with her family and yellow lab, Birdie. She also enjoys cooking, listening to music, exploring the Great Lakes States of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan, and regular travel to see her kids in Chicago.
