Andrea Collins
In June, Andrea Collins joined CDS as our Finance & Donor Program Specialist. Andrea brings over 30 years of experience in small nonprofit administration, finance, and governance, along with a great sense of humor, number-crunching superpowers, and a deep appreciation for the vital role that sound financial management has in helping mission-driven organizations in their quest to change the world.
Andrea now oversees our day-to-day bookkeeping and supports our growing fiscal sponsorship program, helping to ensure that we use public and philanthropic resources with excellence and transparency.
Cory Neeley
In November, Cory Neeley became our Agriculture & Energy Program Specialist. Cory comes to us with an impressive track record in renewable energy and cooperative development, having served as the founding Executive Director of SolarShare Wisconsin Cooperative, where he helped secure over $1.8 million in investment for solar projects across Wisconsin.
Growing up in Prairie du Chien and now living in rural Evansville with his family, Cory brings both personal understanding and professional expertise to his work with rural communities.
Cory will be leading our participation in an innovative project funded by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), working closely with the Minnesota Farmers Union to explore distributed wind energy opportunities for farmers and rural businesses across Minnesota.
As Cory shares, “I am excited to learn from all of the great staff at CDS, and for the chance to grow my knowledge base about cooperatives while exploring renewable energy potential with rural communities.”
